My friend has invited me to a concert next Saturday, but unfortunately, I won't be able to go. I am really disappointed because I was looking forward to attending the concert and spending time with my friend. However, I have a prior commitment that I cannot change.

I have tried to see if there was any way for me to reschedule my plans or find someone else to take my place, but unfortunately, it's just not possible this time. I hope my friend understands and isn't too upset about it.

I will make sure to keep in touch with my friend and maybe we can plan another fun outing in the future. I am really grateful for the invitation and I hope my friend has a fantastic time at the concert without me.
