Alice: Hi, Kate! How was your first day back at school?

Kate: Hi, Alice! It was good, just a bit overwhelming with all the new classes and teachers. How about you?

Alice: It was okay, but I already have a ton of homework to do. I forgot how much work school can be.

Kate: I know what you mean. It's going to be a busy year. Are you excited for any classes in particular?

Alice: I'm looking forward to art class. I love being creative and expressing myself through art. How about you?

Kate: I'm excited for biology. I find science really interesting and love learning about the natural world. Are you joining any clubs this year?

Alice: I'm thinking about joining the drama club. I've always wanted to try acting and it seems like a fun opportunity. How about you?

Kate: I'm planning on joining the debate club. I love discussing different topics and arguing my point of view. It should be a challenging but rewarding experience.

Alice: That's awesome! It sounds like we both have some exciting things to look forward to this school year. I can't wait to see what the year brings.
