Valley of Geysers and Volcanoes of Kamchatka

 Located in the Russian Far East, the Kamchatka Peninsula is a huge natural museum of volcanology, with over 300 active and extinct volcanoes, and dozens of geysers. On the territory of the Kronotsky Biosphere Reserve founded in 1934, there are 26 volcanoes (including 12 active ones), mountain glaciers and lakes. The Valley of Geysers is the only one in Eurasia, a global phenomenon. On the six-kilometer section there are more than 20 large geysers, dozens of thermal springs and gas-vapor jets.
